Five times champions Mumbai Indians(MI) have approved Riley Meredith as an injury replacement for Jhye Richardson for the rest of IPL 2023. The right-arm fast bowler joins the franchise for 1.5 crores as Richardson’s hamstring injury imparted him unfit to play in the Match.
Richardson attached the Mumbai Indians(MI), fetching INR 1.5 crores in the little auction, which was also his basis price. The right-arm seamer was also part of Australia’s ODI team to face India and didn’t play in the 3-game series moreover due to a hamstring injury.
The West Australian went for a natter-dropping INR 14 crore to the Panjab Kings(PK) ahead of the 2021 edition. Although, he didn’t make much of a consequence.
