Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators match were going to play today but the match was postponed to March 2 after Fawad Ahmed returned a positive test for Covid-19. He showed some symptoms two days ago and he had been immediately isolated.
After returning Fawad Ahmed covid-19 positive the other members of Islamabad United were tested for covid-19 and all of them come negative. The game was scheduled for 7:00 PM local time first it was put off by two hours. But after some time the game was officially moved to Tuesday. A Spokesperson of PCB told that members of every franchise are currently being tested for Covid-19.

Other than Fawad Ahmad an unnamed cricketer from Lahore Qalandars came test positive for covid-19. He had gone into 10-day isolation on the same day and he will need to return two negative tests and a clear fitness assessment before he can be re-integrated with the squad. A PCB official confirmed that all other members of the bubble would now be tested every four days till the end of the tournament.
