PCB Angry Over India’s Visa Denial For Journalists
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has expressed disappointment over India’s decision to deny visas to Pakistani journalists for the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup. The PCB has stated that the presence of journalists is essential for the global coverage and appreciation of the game, and that their absence will deprive Pakistani fans of the opportunity to follow their team closely.
In response to the visa denial, Pakistani journalists have announced that they will send their questions for the World Cup press conferences in a WhatsApp group. This workaround will allow them to participate in the press conferences and report on the tournament, even though they are unable to be present in person.
