Peter Handscomb Full Biography

Peter Handscomb is the perfect example of a forgotten star in the sky. The Victoria-born Peter used to play tennis in his childhood later he signed for Victoria U-17. he later played for the Australian u-19  against the Sri Lankan under-19 team in 2009. while playing first-class cricket for Victoria in 2014-15, Peter was unstoppable with the bat. He smashed three hundred in the shield and later carried his absolute form into BBL where he smashed unbeaten hundred against Perth Scorchers and led his team to the victory.


Peter Handscomb made his Test debut against South Africa in the home summer in November 2016. He received his baggy green from former cricketer Chris Rogers. He had a great start to his test cricket when he scored 399 runs at an average of 99.75 across his first four home Tests, one against South Africa and three against Pakistan. He scored consecutive fifties in his first four tests. In the ODI game against India in India, he scored a century to chase a mighty total of 359 in Mohali. The return of Steve Smith caused him to stay on the bench and later he get dropped due to his inconsistent performances.
