Rassie van der Dussen is a South African cricketer, who was born on 7th February 1989. He is from Pretoria. His full name is Hendrik Erasmus van der Dussen. He plays domestic cricket for Highveld Lions. He is a middle order batman, comes after two down. South African Cricket Annual listed Dussen as one of the five Cricketers of the Year in 2018. He was named International Men’s Newcomer at CSA annual award ceremony in 2109.

He has done schoolings from Hoërskool Menlopark. His case was almost similar like Mark Ramprakash of South African cricket, who is an domestic legend but failed to make the cut for the National side. Rassie van der Dussen  wasn’t that unfortunate, he made his international debut at the age of 30. He was brought into national team before world cup, to give the batting order more stability. He scored 93 runs in his first ODI match against the Pakistan.
