“Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident at around 5:30 am according to the live victim. The incident took place at Mohammedpur Jat near Roorkee, Uttrakhand. In 2022, Pant secured 364 runs in 25 T20Is, averaging 21.41 at a strike rate of 132.84. In 12 ODIs this year 2022, he made 336 runs, averaging 37.33 and a strike rate of 96.55. But in Tests, Pant has been at his best phase, scoring 680 runs in 12 innings at an average of 61.81 and strike rate of 90.90.
Before this week, the BCCI had questioned Pant to report to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for an energy and conditioning program.
His position in India’s white-ball cricket teams has been doubtful. On December 27, Pant dropped from India’s T20 team ahead of the series against Sri Lanka. He was a part of the Indian squad that victory the Test series against Bangladesh 2-0 just in these days.
