Women T20 World Cup, Women’s T20 World Cup, ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Women’s T20 ICC Women’s World Cup, Women’s World Cup Cricket: The Indian Women’s team registered a complete victory against England in the final game and went on to win the 2023 maiden ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
It was a prejudiced contest across, as the Indian women’s under-19 Women’s team claimed complete dominance over their opponents from ball one.
They bowled England for just 68 in the Initial innings after Shafali Verma won the Indian team the toss and opted to bowl first.
The sub-continent side then chased down the insignificant target of 69 in 14 overs and supervised to create history as the maiden winners of the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
Team Indian performers ran into the field as soon as Soumya Tiwari hit the huge runs and celebrated the huge victory jubilantly.

“Thanks to BCCI for giving me this beautiful team”- India skipper Shafali Verma mentioned after victory Under-19 Women’s World Cup
Shafali Verma describes thanks for the opportunity after rising victorious in the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
Verma amassed praise on her team members for playing consistently throughout the match and encouraging each other well.
Talking at the post-match performance, Shafali reflected on the successful campaign and said:
“The way all the girls are performing and backing each other, so happy. Incredible feeling. Thanks to the staff, the way they have been backing us every day. The players have been backing me a lot.”
She continued:
“Thanks to BCCI for giving me this beautiful team and really happy for winning the cup. She [Shweta Sehrawat] has been excellent. Not just her the others have been really incredible as well. ”
