Sarfaraz Ahmed took criticism at former skipper Salman Butt in a cryptic tweet on Wednesday, February 2.
Currently, Ahmed is leading Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League(PSL). On Wednesday, he took to Twitter, where he wielded a sharp dig at Salman Butt. He said that a player who sold his country while ‘on duty’ should be the most recent to question the intention and ethics of others.
”Pakistan ko on duty beachne wala fixer jub niyat pe bhashan dega phir to Allah he Hafiz hai .#justsying’’ (Those who sold Pakistan while ‘on duty’ should be the last person to judge the intention of others).

Salman Butt had encouraged Sarfaraz Ahmed to focus on his performance
Sarfaraz Ahmed’s tweet comes after Salman Butt recently encouraged the wicketkeeper-batter to concentrate on his performance and not bother nearly others in the team.
In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Butt said that Ahmed was only creating trouble for himself. He also added that Ahmed should regain his position in the domestic team. Butt mentioned that the former skipper has been traveling with the team as a 2nd-choice stumper in the last 18 months, wrote:
”He (Sarfaraz) is not doing any favor for himself. He is only creating difficulties for himself, and I’m sure he won’t have an answer for that today.”
“He needs to concentrate on himself; he needs to look after his own performance, as he has been traveling with the Pakistan team as a second-choice wicketkeeper in the past 1.5 years. He needs to look after his own performance and not interfere with others.”

Current PSL season, Ahmed has endured a miserable time with the bat. In 3 matches, he has managed only 37 runs at an average strike rate of 115.62.
His team has lost 2 of their first three matches, with their latest defeat against Multan Sultans. That game marked the first instance of a Pakistan Super League(PSL) team losing a game while chasing.
Sarfaraz Ahmed managed an average 23-ball 21 while batting at No 4, leading to massive criticism from former players like Butt.
