Punjab Kings Players List 2023, PBKS Squad 2023 Player List: Punjab Kings (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) is a professional cricket team that competes in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team is based in Mohali, Punjab, India and was founded in 2008. The team is owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, and Karan Paul. The Punjab Kings have had some of the biggest names in cricket play for them over the years, including Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, and Glenn Maxwell. Despite having a strong team, the Punjab Kings have struggled to win the IPL, with their best performance being reaching the final in 2014.
The team plays their home matches at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali, which has a seating capacity of 26,000. The team has a loyal fan base who support them passionately during matches, and they are known as the “Red Army”.

About The Captain:
Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian national team across all formats. He was born on December 5, 1985, in Delhi, India. Dhawan is a left-handed opening batsman known for his aggressive stroke play and excellent fielding skills. Dhawan made his debut for the Indian team in 2010, but he didn’t establish himself as a regular member of the team until 2013, when he scored a record-breaking 187 on his Test debut against Australia in Mohali. Since then, he has become one of the most successful openers in Indian cricket history. Dhawan is best known for his performances in limited-overs cricket, where he has scored over 10,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and over 2,500 runs in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). He has scored 17 centuries in ODIs and is the first Indian batsman to score a century in each of his first two Test matches as an opener. Dhawan has also been a successful captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL), leading the Sunrisers Hyderabad to their first IPL title in 2016. He has played for various IPL teams over the years, including the Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and Deccan Gladiators.
