Pakistan fast-bowler Hasan Ali, announced today (April 6) the birth of his first baby. In August 2019, the right-arm pacer had attached the knots with Indian national Samiya Arzoo. Hasan became the 4th Pakistani cricketer to marry an Indian girl, after Zaheer Abbas, Mohsin Khan, and Shoaib Malik.

Samiya is from the Mewat region of Haryana. As per reports, she is a flight engineer with Emirates Airlines while her relatives are settled in New Delhi. The couple is now all set to start a new journey in their lives as parents. Hasan, who is at present in South Africa with the Pakistan squad, took to Twitter to publish the news.

The 26-year old cricketer said that he and his wife have been blessed with a baby girl. Posting a cute message for the newborn, the Pakistan star asked his fans and goodwill to pray for his daughter as he tweeted that:

Pakistan players congratulate Hasan Ali:

Soon after Hasan Ali announced the news of the birth of his daughter, the fans, along with his teammates, overflowing him with congratulatory messages. The appreciates of Shaheen Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, and Ahmed Shahzad was among the first few cricketers who congratulated Hasan. Pakistan women team’s skipper Bismah Maroof also congratulated the pacer.

At the same time, Hasan would be hoping that his riches change on the cricket field too and he gets a chance to play the 3rd and final ODI against South Africa. The Ali had to warm the bench in the first 2-games. Hasan has not played an ODI after the World Cup clash against India in June 2019. The current ODI series is right now locked at 1-1.

Following the ODIs, two squads will play four T20Is. Pakistan will then fly to Zimbabwe for a 3-match T20I series and 2-match Test series.
